No Bull...It's Red

Now that the art contest is done, and J-Dog has won with "Confetti", it's time for a new wine tasting post.
NOBUL RED, Tempranillo 2003. $8.99 Alcohol 13.5%
Grown in the Southeast part of Madrid, the vineyards are located in the Arganda del Ray subzone. The climate has extreme temperatures in the winter and in the summer. There is little rain. The extreme summer temperatures make grapes rich in sugar and with nice acidity. The grapes are hand picked in September of 2003 and aged 4 months in American oak.
I thought it was a very smooth, rich, spicy and fruity tasting wine. With a long finish, no bull, I would buy it again.
Here are some talking points for Nobul Red. Enjoy!
